At NUA, we strive to create and shape flourishing communities by supporting the local economy and employment, as well as schools, sports clubs and charities.

From partnering with local suppliers to supporting Tidy Towns and volunteering initiatives, we take pride in investing in those around us and make our presence felt across the community. 

Investing in our community

At NUA, we support the local economy by sourcing our most precious resources within Ireland, both in terms of workforce as well as materials. 

Our sites in Carlow, Dundalk and Arklow have been creating and sustaining 300 highly-skilled manufacturing jobs, providing great career development opportunities and expert training to the local communities. 

Our raw materials are sourced locally where possible and a large segment of our delivery and logistics chain is also centralised within Ireland, contributing actively to the local economy. 

We proudly provide a joint programme with the South East Technological University in Carlow and regularly offer career placement opportunities to Quantity Surveying and Construction students, as well as host guest lectures and career events throughout the year. 

We also offer free Nature Hero Bootcamps in local schools to promote the biodiversity around us and encourage a sense of respect for nature. 

We promote a diverse range of sports and offer ongoing sponsorships to several local sports clubs which include Hanover Harps FC as well as the Ladies team.

We are constantly looking for new partnerships at a both local and national level and are committed to sponsoring even more events and interests in the years to come.
